With the electrification of cars, the CES has become almost a car show over the past years. The advancements in autonomous and connected cars continue that trend. Of the 3,900 exhibiting companies at the CES 2018, 300 are involved in the car market. It's no surprise that Ford CEO Jim Hackett is holding the open keynote at the CES 2018. Hackett’s keynote address will focus on the development of mobility solutions as the world progresses towards smarter cities.
Other hot topics will include blockchain technology, IoT, and artificial intelligence. As you see there much more to expect from CES than new TVs.
