- Yamaha Motor's first ever exhibit at CES in 2018 will feature U.S. debut of five models including a drone and an unmanned helicopter
The exhibit of the Yamaha Motor Company Limited at the CES 2018 will have five models in it. These comprise: the MOTOROiD, the MOTOBOT Version 2, PPM, a drone and a novel FAZER R helicopter.
The first of these is a motorcycle with built-in AI. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the rider will meld with the technology in a seamless union. Both will supplement each other in a symbiotic technological display of bionic excellence.
The second, that is the MOTOBOT Version 2, is a motorcycle riding robot. The main reason behind this setup is to ensure the safety of the motorcycles that get churned out from factories. The robot is capable of riding the motorcycle across the track at great velocity. This will help in the creation of novel standards in Yamaha’s repertoire of technological innovations.
Then comes the PPM system which stands for Public Personal Mobility. This too is a scheme to start autonomous driving on a real time basis. Since the environment is one where many people are on foot, this technology has adapted its functionality to suit such an arrangement.
As for the drone, which bears the title YMR-01, it has coaxial rotors on it. Thus it is ideal for spraying chemicals on crops to prevent insects from destroying them. Its performativity is excellent and it is easy to employ. The drone shows a high degree of reliability. There are a total of 8 rotors on the drone.
Last but not least, the FAZER R is a helicopter that is unmanned and is to be used for industrial purposes.
Yamaha’s repertoire of advanced technology will surely wow the crowd of geeks at CES 2018. This new technology pioneered by Yamaha is meant to benefit humanity in the long run. From spraying pesticides on crops to allowing transport to be tested, the technologies are the best in their range.
The sort of technology present at the show will deal with both land and air environments. Thus it is an addition to mankind’s technological prowess. Yamaha has done it once again and shown that it is not to be left behind in the futuristic stakes.
CES 2018 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will last from January 9th to January 12th.
