WowWee announced a new line of Fingerlings baby monkeys on Nov. 28. The collectible aspect of $15 Fingerlings is getting more emphasis with the release of new series. Last week WowWee released the Glitter monkeys and now its Two Tone (2Tone) fingerlings.
Update 3: Two Tone (2Tone) Fingerlings are listed on Amazon.com. The new Fingerlings could go on sale anytime online at Amazon.
Update 2: 2Tone Fingerlings have started to sell at ToysRUs stores Friday morning. Target and Walmart have not yet started to sell the new ombre 2Tone Fingerlings.
Update 1: We just heard from ToysRUs: "The launch of the 2Tone Fingerlings is tomorrow (12/1) and customers can get in line bright and early at our stores nationwide for a chance to snag the product." The 2Tone (ombre) Fingerlings are featured in the new ToysRUs Ad.
The Two Tone Fingerlings will be available at Walmart, Target, and ToysRUs starting Friday, Dec. 1. WowWee named the new Fingerlings 2Tone monkeys Candi, Charlie, Summer, Sydney, and Eddie. Ava is the 6th Two Tone Fingerlings, a ToysRUs exclusive.
The new Fingerlings baby monkeys are candy-colored. The monkey's feet and arms are accentuated with the color of the hair.
ToysRUs is only selling the Two Tone Fingerlings in stores on Friday. Some hope that they can pick them up at the Parents Night Out Event on Thursday, November 30 from 8-10pm local time. During these grown-up events, gift-buyers will have access to a designated shopping expert, hot toy demonstrations, hot chocolate bar, raffles, and sweepstakes. If TRU stores will offer early access to the Two Tone Fingerlings is just speculation at this point.
Walmart and Target may sell the 2Tone Fingerlings online on Dec. 1. The Tracker app has started to look for online availability of the new monkeys. So far the Walmart SKUs of the Two Tone monkeys are known. The new Fingerlings have not yet shown up in Target's inventory system.
