- Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Becomes Nintendo's Second Largest Mobile Game Launch
There is no reason to go out in Nature with its insects and dirt if you can manage to go on the same camping trip on your smartphone. There are millions of folks who prefer the second option to the first. That is why Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp achieved over 15 million downloads during its first six days, according to SensorTower.
The game was released on November 22nd on the App Store and Google Play. Pocket Camp happens to be the third game from Nintendo. This figure doesn’t include Miitomo which is different since it is a hybrid game.
After Super Mario Run, this game is the best camping simulation around for miles. Nintendo seems to have done it once again by scoring in the region of 32 million downloads for this game.
Pocket Camp has a one-on-one match with Fire Emblem which reached 7 million downloads on a global basis. The game basically involves the maintaining of a camp with fuzzy wuzzy creatures that reside on its premises.
The player has to carry out activities to keep up the appearance of normality at the camp. Small time transactions in the form of Leaf Tickets also take place to facilitate the commercial instinct in the gamers.
