- Predictions About Three New Full-Screen iPhone Models for Next Year
Apple has recently made record with the iPhone X which was put on the market with $1000. While everyone might be concentrating on the current iPhone in hand, others are looking to the next year’s model.
The iPhone models for next year may already be in progress of production and design. Apple is very secretive about its products, but companies related to the product are already making some predictions about the iPhone models for 2018.
According to the note, Apple has a 6.5-inch OLED iPhone lined up for launch in the second half of 2018. This model is predicted to serve as an "iPhone X Plus". This phone is a plus-sized iPhone with an edge-to-edge OLED display.
We all know that iPhone X has created a lot of debate about its price. The thousand dollars price tag has made it inaccessible to the lower market. Reportedly, Apple is also working on a new LCD model with a large 6.1-inch display.
According to Kuo, this LCD phone is going to be targeted towards the low-end and mid-range smartphone markets. He said that the new model will "differ significantly" from the OLED models.
This model will havea lower-resolution display with features like Face ID and advanced cameras. These differences will allow Apple to achieve a price range between $650 and $750. The phone is also said to get rid of the Touch ID feature which will lead to reduction of bezels on the LCD screen.
This set will be sold alongside iPhone X next generation. The series will have OLED edge to edge screen phones like the recently released iPhone X. Kuo said that there are three models of the iPhone X generation that are lined up for sale in 2018.
