Nintendo has seen a whole lot of success in the sales of its Switch platform. So much so that other rivals such as PS4 and Xbox have been left behind in the popularity ratings. Nintendo’s novel hybrid console has given the rest of the companies in the business an inferiority complex and with good reason.
Ubisoft happens to be a nascent importer of the Switch and it has only benefited from this move. While EA has been a bit doubtful in this matter, Bandai Namco has blind faith in case of Nintendo.
The President of Bandai Namco has told WSJ that his company has put three games on the Switch so far and all of them are doing well. Bandai Namco will be working in the future times to develop more games for the Switch.
The target date for the completion of this project is April 2018. Bandai Namco is a third party publisher based in Japan. The support it is going to offer Nintendo is bound to increase by leaps and bounds in the times to come. It seems to be a match made in heaven.
