Koei Tecmo announced that Attack on Titans 2 will be coming soon. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Japan will be getting the game on PS Vita.
Another gaming console will be getting the new game as well. The open-world hack-and-slash adventure sequel will also be heading to Nintendo Switch.
Now that decision was the cause of many curious gamers. The game is available on some of the biggest gaming consoles. Adding Nintendo Switch to the mix, considering how new the gaming console is, is curious.
We can agree that majority of games available on Nintendo Switch are mostly owned Nintendo. Nintendo has upgraded most of its games for its latest gaming consoles.
Other game developers have been reserved about committing to the new gaming console. So, Koei Tecmo, president and chief operating officer of Hisashi Koinuma, explained to DualShockers that why Attack on Titans 2 is already appearing on Nintendo Switch.
Koinuma said that the success of any anime game is in its accessibility to fans. He said that Koei Tecmo did a very thorough research about gaming consoles and the popularity and access statistics.
After the analysis, they found out that making Attack on Titan 2 available on Nintendo Switch was a sound and reasonable decision.
With regards to what the game will be like on Nintendo Switch gaming console, Koei Tecmo’s Hideo Suzuki noted that the game will be “comparable with the PS3 version”. He further assured the gamers that the game will look amazing on handheld and TV mode.
