- EA is Not Developing Future Games for Nintendo Switch Soon
FIFA 18 was released for Nintendo Switch a month ago. Despite the games popularity and Nintendo Switch’s superior graphics; the game suffered setback. Issues arose as soon as the game was released. There were issues with graphics, display, gameplay and repetition issues.
EA recently released an update to fix some of the main issues and they will be working towards fixing more issues. FIFA 18 was one of the games that EA planned to bring to Nintendo Switch.
However, they might be putting that ambition on the back burner. EA chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen said in an interview that EA is holding any game releases for Nintendo Switch for the foreseeable future.
He said that they will wait for Nintendo Switch new edition to complete a year in the market. He said that they would want to track the trends and the market needs of the Nintendo Switch consoles.
That way they could analyze whether they want to develop any more games for Nintendo Switch. EA already has games available on PS4 and Xbox so they are not deprived of gaming consoles.
